  • Airport: EZ-Link cards are available at Changi Airport, making it convenient for tourists arriving in Singapore to obtain one.
Types of Cards:
  1. Standard EZ-Link Card: This is a basic card that you can use for public transportation.
  2. Tourist EZ-Link Card: Specifically designed for tourists, this card offers additional perks such as discounts at selected tourist attractions, retail outlets, and restaurants.
Features:
  • Convenience: The card allows for seamless travel on public transportation without the need to purchase tickets each time.
  • Reloadable: You can easily top up the card at any MRT station, bus interchange, or through various online platforms.

Use of Visa and MasterCard in MRT/Buses:

Both Visa and MasterCard are commonly accepted for payment on buses and trains (MRT) in Singapore.

Children above 0.9m in height and below 7 years old can apply for a Child Concession Card at SimplyGo Ticket Office to travel for free on basic bus and train services.

  • Board the East West Line (EWL): Head to Changi Airport MRT Station, accessible from Terminals 2 or 3. Board the East West Line (EWL/Green Line) towards Tanah Merah MRT Station.
  • Transfer at Tanah Merah: At Tanah Merah MRT Station, switch trains to continue the EWL/Green Line Westbound towards Tuas Link.
  • Arrive at Outram Park: Alight at Outram Park MRT Station.
  • Transfer to the Thomson East Coast Line (TEL): From Outram Park, take the Thomson East Coast Line (TEL/Brown Line) towards Woodlands North MRT Station. Ride for just one stop.
  • Arrive at Havelock: Disembark at Havelock MRT Station.
  • Take Exit 4: Follow signs to Exit 4 at Havelock MRT Station. From there, turn left out of Exit 4. It’s just a short 3-minute walk to reach Grand Copthorne Waterfront.

Alternatively, for a direct option, taxis or ride-sharing services are available at Changi Airport. Popular ride-hailing services in Singapore include Grab, Ryde, Tada, and Gojek. Download their apps from Google Play Store or Apple App Store to book your ride seamlessly.
